Trump fans just launched a boycott of Wal-Mart for the dumbest reason

Trump supporters are notoriously bad at boycotts.

Remember last summer when they smashed their Keurigs that they’d already paid for after the coffee maker pulled their ads from Hannity’s show… only for Hannity to turn around and buy his viewers new Keurigs?

Or what about in the fall, when they got mega butt-hurt over kneeling NFL players so they burned their incredibly expensive merchandise?

If their past has set any precedent for the future, it’s time to buy some stocks in Walmart before the right’s latest failure buoys the value of the retail giant.

Apparently, MAGA-heads were shocked to learn that retailers in the free market are non-partisan. Although the walking braindead can head to Walmart and stock up on as many “Make America Great Again” hats manufactured in Chinese sweatshops as they please, they’re apparently not happy with the “Impeach 45” also offered on the company’s website.

Self-righteous state media Fox News notes that Old Glory is the manufacturer licensing their “Impeach 45″ clothing through Walmart, though the news outlet adds that a search on Walmart.com revealed that three other companies also sell clothing that promotes impeaching Trump.

Republican outrage was completely missing in November of 2017, when the company was forced to stop selling a t-shirt that said “Rope. Tree. Journalist. Some assembly required,” but were perfectly incensed last week when five journalists were gunned down in their Capital Gazette newsroom and conservatives were expected to accept responsibility for their hand in the slayings after spending two years railing against “fake news.”

That shirt was removed from the store’s website after the Radio Television Digital News Association sent a letter to the company about the shirt, according to the group.

“As a fierce proponent of the First Amendment that is politically nonpartisan, we recognize Walmart’s right to sell the T-Shirts, and the right of consumers to purchase and wear them,” the group’s executive director, Dan Shelley, wrote in his letter to the retailer. “However, just because Walmart has the right to sell the shirts, that doesn’t mean it is the right thing to do.

If they’re looking for somewhere else to do their discount shopping, they hate Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post (which he owns), so Amazon is out. Sam’s Club is a subsidiary of Walmart, so that’s no good. Costco has some great prices but they’re also socialists and pay their workers fairly and provide healthcare, a big no-no for conservatives.

Looks like it might be time for them to take their precious guns and start hunting for food – they’re out of safe spaces to shop on a budget.
