President Trump, for some bizarre reason, just felt the need to lie about the deadly fire that is currently raging through Trump Tower in Manhattan.
Taking to Twitter, Donald announced to everyone that the fire was out and thanked the firefighters for their hard work, bizarrely thanking the women who participated in the efforts separately in a pathetic refusal to use gender-neutral terms out of spite.
Fire at Trump Tower is out. Very confined (well built building). Firemen (and women) did a great job. THANK YOU!

But the New York City Fire Department had other ideas, announcing an hour later after the President’s tweet that the fire had been upgraded to four alarms and was still raging, having injured one person and three firefighters.
#FDNY members remain on scene of a 4-alarm fire, 721 5th Ave in Manhattan. There is currently one serious injury to a civilian, and 3 non-life-threatening injuries to Firefighters, reported pic.twitter.com/c7qeOlDVcf

This exchange exemplifies the President’s bizarre need to lie about literally anything and everything, for no apparent reason. What could he possibly have to gain or lose by tweeting that the fire was out when it wasn’t?
We have to rid ourselves of this pathological liar as soon as reasonably possible.
