The president is having a very bad morning on Twitter. After aiming an offensive new nickname at former President Barack Obama, he turned his shaky sights on Jeff Zucker, President of CNN.
Trump hates the fact that the Cable News Network covers his administration honestly, meaning almost every piece of coverage they run is negative. The president much prefers Fox News which has essentially become state media during the Trump era, pumping out inane propaganda to assure his voters that he’s doing a good job despite all evidence to the contrary.
The president’s continued political survival hinges on creating a false reality where the facts don’t matter and he can say whatever he wants, claim imagined victories, and keep his clueless supporters rallied behind him.
In his tweet, Trump made the completely unfounded claim that CNN will only hire people who are “totally anti-Trump.” It’s another blatant, pathetic attempt by the president to paint the network as biased simply because he doesn’t like the way they honestly report the news. Trump then referred to “Little Jeff Zuker,” demonstrating once again his tenuous grasp of spelling. It’s spelled Zucker.
Trump also claimed that Zucker’s job is in jeopardy, something he doesn’t know and has no way of knowing. He referred to “cleaning up” and “strengthening” CNN, which presumably means he wants it stocked with fawning toadies like those at Fox.
Check out the fact that you can’t get a job at ratings challenged @CNN unless you state that you are totally anti-Trump? Little Jeff Zuker, whose job is in jeopardy, is not having much fun lately. They should clean up and strengthen CNN and get back to honest reporting!

Unwilling to let the lies go unchallenged, CNN tweeted back at the president to correct him. The network stated that they don’t care about the personal political beliefs of their employees, so being “anti-Trump” is certainly not a requisite for getting hired. They just care about the truth.
They also took a shot at his illiterate tweet by correcting his spelling of Zucker. They even spelled it letter by letter with hyphenates between each so that our dimwitted president can get it right next time.
Once again, false. The personal political beliefs of CNN's employees are of no interest to us. Their pursuit of the truth is our only concern. Also, Jeff's last name is spelled Z-U-C-K-E-R. Those are the facts. #FactsFirst
