The condescending and racist remarks by the Fox News host were met with a wave of criticism, but none on so grand a stage as the 90th Academy Awards, when Kobe Bryant took the opportunity to slam the misguided comment.

“As basketball players, we’re really supposed to shut up and dribble. But I’m glad we do a little bit more than that,” Kobe said.
Bryant won the Oscar for Best Animal Short Film with “Dear Basketball.” Not only did he leave tonight with a golden statue, but gave one more bigoted talking head the resounding condemnation she deserves.
