President Trump’s senior advisor, Stephen Miller, made headlines today when he was abruptly kicked off of Jake Tapper’s State of the Union show on CNN for refusing to properly answer his questions.
The exchange quickly went viral on social media and brought Miller back into the spotlight after spending the past few months lurking in the White House, writing President Trump’s more coherent public statements and helping to orchestrate Donald Trump’s agenda of coordinated white supremacy.
Many on the left took issue with Jake Tapper’s decision to have him on entirely, arguing that giving a platform to the white supremacist Trump advisors who dabble in neo-Nazism in the first place is enabling and normalizing those kinds of hateful beliefs.

While that debate is certainly one worth having, it’s worth reminding ourselves exactly what kind of a person Steve Miller is.
Someone dug through Miller’s likes on Twitter and discovered this appallingly anti-Semitic “like” by Steve Miller’s account on a tweet made by former Ku Klux Klan leader and notorious racist David Duke.
In the era of Trump, where nothing makes sense, Miller’s Jewishness does not preclude him from anti-Semitism or engaging in neo-Nazi beliefs.
While it was enjoyable to see Tapper kick Miller off of his show in such entertaining fashion, expecting him to do anything but verbally bow and scrape on behalf of the President is ridiculous – which begs the question of why even having him on at all.
If one wouldn’t have David Duke on their show, they shouldn’t have Miller on it either.
